The wook gang packs their bags to head out to the wild west for the new North American pod experience. On November 6th and 7th, the funkstep and headbangers unite with live music from Subtronics, Boogie T, Dirt Monkey, and Level Up. The socially distanced pod experience that Relentless Beats has created is a safe environment that has allowed music lovers to experience live concerts again. Each pod allows 5 to 8 attendees with different pricing depending where its sectioned. Yes, masks are mandatory and strictly enforced at all times.

The Philadelphia raised DJ/producer, Subtronics, has been making noise all of 2020. During the pandemic, many of us have been able to rely on his production class streams and brain melting visual sets with original music. Subtronics, also known as Jesse, has been one of the hardest working artist in his personal home studio this pandemic and it shows. He has released two EPs since April on his own record label, Cyclops Recordings, including many collaborations as well. The first EP ‘Screen Savor’ saved us all from the quarantine boredom back in April. Subtronics followed that up with the anticipated bass heavy raggaeton collaboration ‘Nuclear Bass Face’ with NGHTMRE and Boogie T released on Ultra Records. Of course everyone all loves it when Zeds Dead and Subtronics get together and this time it was for the Atmosphere remix of ‘GodLovesUgly.’ While patiently waiting, ‘String Theory’ EP was finally released recently via Cyclops Recordings once again. String Theory is a physics concept of quantum gravity that is applied to black holes, nuclear physics, condensed matter, and early universe cosmology. The concept behind String Theory all lines up with Subtronics true self and brand behind him. The EP has collaborations with Wooli and Kompany.

The entertainment industry took the biggest hit during this pandemic with no promise of when jobs would come back. Relentless Beats has made it safe and possible to give those jobs back one by one. The pod experience allows people to dance to live music again while adhering to the CDC guidelines. Every pod is correctly distanced from one another, you may order drinks and food from the touch of your phone, and enough security to enforce the rules in place to keep this running. Fridays show is support from the kendama king, Boogie T, that will bring you the live music aspect with his infamous raggae voice and slick guitar. Dirt Monkey, the jazz funkstep master, will be the Saturday support. Both nights with have Level Up as well. This banging Corpse Bride look-a-like has been getting some heat with her Deadbeats remix of Rescue by Zeds Dead and her EP, ‘Scared Of The Dark’. Will you go both nights? You might just have to.
