Confessions and Howsla’s MVP, Noizu, has caught everyone’s attention with his new age of house music breaking through the scene. With inspirations from Claude VonStroke and Justin Martin, his production of house music is definitely weird and snazzy. He’s created his own analog synths to make more of a unique sound. He’s now seen throughout bass house, future house, and even tech-house playlists. Noizu has headlined at Beyond Wonderland and EDC in 2019 and now even has his own record label, Techne, coming to the scene.
The first time we heard Noizu’s weird sounds hit the scene was “Lasers” from the HOWSLA compilation. It wasn’t long before it caught the ear of Tchami. Noizu’s first EP was released through Confessions. There, we witnessed his heavier bass house sounds with songs like “Jungle” and “Steady Blazin’.” His infamous remix of “Music Sounds Better With You” with Malaa has become a festival anthem. He dipped into the acid house realm when he released, “Dance.” With everything Noizu has attempted, leave it up to him to be able to release tech house songs like “Slow Down” and “Inside My Head,” which was a collaboration with Eli Brown. Recently, he brings us back home with his remix to “Space Jam” and “Baby Baby.” Which if you’re a nineties baby, you feel the nostalgia.
Noizu has also collaborated with Tony Romero and Dombresky, who he has also looked up to for some time. Below is his Soundcloud link which he has posted multiple mix’s of his. From Diplo & Friends, EDC 2019, Holy Ship 2019, and more. Noizu is creating a new wave of house music for artists and listeners. He has no barriers to whether he creates bass house or acid. He knew he wanted to be in house music from the moment he started making music in school. Starting the year with Friendship, to tour dates in Canada and southwest the United States, and fresh off from EDC Mexico; catch Noizu this Sunday at Shady Park in downtown Tempe, AZ. After, he’s back at Beyond Wonderland for the second year in a row. Keep an eye out for releases on his new record label, Techne Records.
